Senior Conference

Our senior conference that is scheduled for October 7, 2017 is coming together amazingly. Our tickets are now on sale and can be purchased on our website.

Grand Court

We had such fun and fellowship at Grand Court on Monday. So much that we forgot to take pictures.

We are so excited

We are extremely excited about the possibility of singing and sharing in London, England and Edinburg, Scotland in February. As soon as the date is set firm we will let you know. God has opened so many doors and we are so grateful.

Psalm 61:2b

I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety.

Do you know what your purpose is?

We have spent much time in prayer as we were moved to the decision of this ministry. Every day God reveals more to us by opening doors that we never thought of. Currently, many people have come to us with many “church hurts” and honestly we have been there at times in our lives. I have yet to understand why people in the church want to hurt people that are coming to be loved on by Christians, by Christ and to find answers and peace. Instead they find hatred, anger and people that are just not happy in their own walk with Christ, so they take it out on others. Or maybe they feel Christians in their church are an elite group of people, so they need to control. I don’t know for sure why this is such an everyday occurrence in our world, other than the devil has his hold on people. What I do know is that there are people that need our love/compassion and more importantly Christ’s love and forgiveness. And it is our job as Christians in the church to guide others to God and then get out of the way and let God do his work.

We now realize that our purpose in G&G is to love on people and guide their hurting hearts to God. We do that through conferences and concerts. In a couple of months we will be doing a “church hurt” group at a couple of churches with curriculum that we have developed. We will let you know times and places when we are up and running.

We would love to hear your comments and thoughts about this subject of church hurt.

Forgiveness and trust

You can’t move into all God has for you if any doubt our lack of forgiveness has found a place in your heart.

Blessed are all those who put their trust in him. Psalm 2:12

Sometimes we find wisdom in unexpected places.

Seeking God’s will

Gary and I resigned from a magnificent church at the end of April, 2017 (South Park Baptist in Lubbock, TX). As we have moved into evangelism, we have prayed diligently to seek God’s will concerning a home church. Do we stay at South Park, do we move our membership somewhere else? At this point, we still are not sure. But the one thing we are very positively assured about is that Christ is leading us to follow him and he will definitely reveal where we need to be. We pray for all of you as we interact with you or if we are at your church sharing with you, worshiping with you. As people buy our books and CD’s we pray that the person will be blessed and long to know Christ personally or to have a close walk with Him. We ask that you pray for us as we have embarked on this new adventure that we feel strongly is His will. Where all of this will lead us, we have no clue, we just want desperately to do His will.

Gary’s CD

The CD Hymns from My Heart will be available in a couple of weeks. It is currently at press. We will let you know as soon as we get them in. Thank you so much for your prayers, support and questions about where and how to get them. They can be purchased in our store at this website.
